As part of the KTI Achieve programme, students are provided with the opportunity to volunteer at the Soup Kitchen OFM in Valletta. This initiative offers participants a valuable and meaningful experience through which they can develop empathy, compassion, and a deeper sense of social responsibility. By supporting individuals experiencing hardship, students gain a broader understanding of diverse life circumstances and the importance of community solidarity. The experience also contributes to the development of key transferable skills, including teamwork, communication, organisation, time management, and problem-solving, as participants work collaboratively to prepare meals, serve beneficiaries, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Furthermore, the initiative encourages students to become more confident, responsible, and respectful individuals, while strengthening their employability skills and fostering a positive commitment to supporting others and contributing actively to the wider community.
